CONTRACTS TO SUPPORT SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES

In Palilula Municipality signed two contracts of dedicated donation, by which LEDIB program continues to support the project activities of Palilula Municipality. The contracts signed, on behalf of donors, Carsten Lund, director of LEDIB and Prof. Dr Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality.

The first contract of dedicated donation is related on realization of the project "Establishment of Project Center of City Municipality of Palilila ", to which LEDIB approved 1,439,200 dinars. Palilula Municipality accounts for 15 percent of total project funds, which amounts to 266,527 dinars. To implement the second project, "Establishment of synergetic dialogue between Serbian and Bulgarian entrepreneurs and professional organizations for the sustainable exchange of experiences", the total financial resources provided under this agreement, the amount of 1,737,740 dinars. LEDIB will fund the amount of 1,543,400 dinars and Palilula Municipality will provide 194,340 dinars, or about 11 percent of the anticipated budget.

Program grants will be realized until the end of this year. According to Karsten Lund, Palilula Municipality is the only organization of local self-government of the City of Nis, which has received two grants for the quality and originality of project ideas. For Palilula Municipality, in the opinion of president Dr Igor Novakovic, these contracts are intended to help the action to address unemployment and support the most vulnerable population.
